Pixar Strikes Gold Again With “Inside Out”

By multiversalbeta on June 28, 2015 • ( 2 Comments )

To say Inside Out is a great film would be to grossly undersell its brilliance; it is, quite frankly, movie magic. Pixar has become the storytelling-standard by which us movie lovers judge every […]

DC’s Cinematic Universe And The Foibles That Plague It

By multiversalbeta on May 16, 2015 • ( Leave a comment )

I was following the network upfronts a few days ago when it occurred to me, for the first time without a single reservation, just how lost DC Entertainment is in attempting to […]

Free Comic Book Day 2015

By multiversalbeta on April 26, 2015 • ( Leave a comment )

Well, kids, it’s almost time; almost time to see what Mr. Whedon’s cooked up for us. Who will fall? Who will rise to the occasion and subvert the madness of Ultron? Will […]

“Fog On A Window”

By multiversalbeta on April 25, 2015 • ( Leave a comment )

I began writing this short story last July. It is my first ever attempt at writing prose. Although I have written and completed my second attempt since beginning this here tale (well, […]

Ex Machina: An Examination of What It Means To Be “Human”

By multiversalbeta on April 16, 2015 • ( Leave a comment )

Question: if an artificial intelligence evolved a consciousness and became self-aware, how would we know? Would we be able to differentiate between imitation and authenticity? Between sincere emotional responsiveness and replication? Is […]

Review: Terry Moore’s “Rachel Rising”

By multiversalbeta on February 21, 2015 • ( 1 Comment )

I think there is something to be said about a writer who also supplies the visuals for his story; I have an additional amount of reverence for one who is skilled in […]

Review: “Kingsman: The Secret Service”

By multiversalbeta on February 15, 2015 • ( Leave a comment )

If manners maketh man – as Colin Firth’s Harry Hart so eloquently puts it, then genius maketh director; and Kingsman is in no short supply of it. Matthew Vaughn is making quite […]

Review: “Black Science Volume 1: How To Fall Forever” TP

By multiversalbeta on February 1, 2015 • ( Leave a comment )

I’ve always been a huge fan of multiversal existence. The idea that every decision we make yields an infinite number of alternate realities based on the ones we didn’t; lives which follow […]

Review: “Deadly Class, Vol. 1: Reagan Youth” TP

By multiversalbeta on January 2, 2015 • ( 1 Comment )

For some of us, high school was one long shitty 4-year experience. Not only did we have to cope with the potential scrutiny of our peers, social acceptance (conformity is a better […]

Been “cellaring” this beauty for over a decade, now. Last night I noticed there was a leak coming from the cork. How long, one might inquire? To which I can only shrug my shoulders. If I believed in the nonsense of astrology (not a real science), or the poorly written tales of the Bible (I’ve read better works of fiction in children’s books), I may have been so inclined to consider the realization of this, the night before St. Paddy’s Day, to be some sort of celestial, ethereal, or empyrean revelation. The meddling hand of divinity hard at work, if you will (God wants my thirst quenched, thus it shall be so). But I don’t, and this just means the wine within will either taste like what believers refer to as “Manna from Heaven,” or a delicious vinegar for my salad. Preferably the former. Now, let us pray. *nyuk, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk*
Thanks to the creative ingenuity of @c.a.mbur, I now have a brilliantly crafted “Cure” inspired pillow for those lonely, desperately sorrowful nights that find me wallowing in the miasma of regretful decisions of the past. Decisions such as the spontaneity several hours prior to partake in the consumption of entire bags of potato chips. *sniffles*
Some pre-viewing literature before diving into “Judas and the Black Messiah”...
On this day in popular, fictional literary history, the Fellowship of the Ring set out on their journey to Mordor from Rivendell. Oh, and a kid named Jesus was birthed from the magical womb of his mother, Mary. 👶🏽
Endeavoring to cork away a 2016 Justin Isosceles this evening. Yup, the entire bottle. Additionally, I'll also be corking away four years of anxiety, which, similarly, commenced at the prologue of this vintage. Fun Fact: my 80-something Mormon Korean neighbor just told me she voted for Biden. Surprises seem to be multifarious and strewn about generously today, it would appear. 🖖🏽
For all you married folk - Orange County's got you covered....
Any takers for the Rocky/Kanye ticket? Anyone? Anyone? 🇺🇸
I'm gettin' them "prequel" vibes here....

José Mourinho's "Platoon" moment today amidst his Spur's 0-1 loss against my boys in red. 😁 #THFC #LFC
