Star Trek has been a hugely integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father – a seasoned and exceptionally knowledgeable geek himself – introduced my siblings […]
Let's see, where to begin.....I suppose an explanation of my blog title is as good a starting point as any. In short, I've always been fascinated by the idea of multiversal existence (or “quantum universes” as it’s also referred to as). The idea that there are an infinite number of universes with an infinite number of "Erics" living an infinite number of varying lives. Being all too human, I have made numerous mistakes - part of the evolutionary cycle of living, I know. Sometimes it almost feels like I'm the universe's beta version of myself, a trial run before the final product. Somewhere out there, in the vastness of time and space, is a version of me that got it all right. This is what happens when you're a lifelong fan of science fiction and film: your mind goes to some supremely unusual places. But quite simply I'm just a scribbler who enjoys sharing a word or two about the things I'm most passionate about in life. And if you've enjoyed my weirdness thus far, it is for you that I continue to share.

IMAGE COMICS WANTS YOU TO BUY SEX….. This was the announcement released by Image Comics at the advent of Joe Casey’s and Piotr Kowalski’s newest ongoing series Sex. Pretty ingenious marketing really; […]
Funny thing – I never thought I’d be praising DC’s competence with their properties (Chris Nolan’s Batman trilogy being the exception to their cinematic follies). So it is an unusual situation for […]
So this here is my second attempt at writing prose fiction, but only my first completed story (the first attempt is currently gestating in its rough-draft phase). Interestingly enough, I wrote a […]
Birdman is quite simply an affirmation. What sort of affirmation you ask? The kind which confirms what I have known since the 80s; Michael Keaton is one hell of an actor. Give […]
